General
Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy are used as defined in the application Terms and Conditions.
Access to your Information
Except as set out below, you are the only one who will have access to your Content and other information in DigiCred Wallet. DigiCred does not collect any personal information or other information from you through the DigiCred Wallet unless you choose to share your information, as described below.
Your wallet PIN
You create a wallet PIN when you use the DigiCred Wallet. Your wallet PIN is used only to unlock the DigiCred Wallet. It is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to DigiCred or to third parties through the DigiCred Wallet.
Device Security and Biometrics
You can set the DigiCred Wallet to unlock with your device’s biometric security instead of your wallet PIN. With device security, when you open the DigiCred Wallet it will ask your device operating system to prompt you to authenticate. the DigiCred Wallet will receive confirmation if you were authenticated but will never get access to your biometric information or device password.
Use of the camera
The camera is activated temporarily when you select the “Scan” button inside the DigiCred Wallet. The camera is used only to identify a QR code, so you can receive credentials or send information from credentials. The the DigiCred Wallet does not use or store any other camera information.
Notification of information sharing
The DigiCred Wallet notifies you each time you choose to send information to any services that you interact with. You receive a notification each time you are about to send information using your digital credentials, and you can confirm if you wish to continue or to decline sharing that information.
Usage information
Information about your use of the DigiCred Wallet is stored within the DigiCred Wallet and is not shared by DigiCred Wallet without your consent.
Information Shared from the DigiCred Wallet
You may choose to use the DigiCred Wallet to send credential information or a message to another party, including a service offered by DigiCred. When you share credential information, the issuer of the credential is not informed.
No usage information is provided to DigiCred unless you explicitly opt-in to one of the following features:
– Crash reports. Crash reports include only anonymized code execution information and do not include personal information.
– Remote troubleshooting. DigiCred Help Desk staff may suggest you enable remote troubleshooting in the DigiCred Wallet to help them investigate an issue you are experiencing with the DigiCred Wallet. If you turn on remote troubleshooting, information about each transaction your the DigiCred Wallet makes, the type and version of your mobile device, and the version of the Licensed Application will be sent to DigiCred. This may include personal information about you or others. You can turn off remote troubleshooting at any time. It will automatically turn off after 1 hour.
Applicable Laws
Information collected by DigiCred is subject to the laws applicable in the United States.
